  • Yep the question is wrong there is no official language, it should be what is the NATIONAL language, which is English. Americans can't even ask the question right.

  • The US has no official language.

  • FAAAAAYYYYYUUUUULLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @GAMESaROCKN an official language is a language which by law or by the Constitution the people are compelled to learn, take France for example its Constitution clearly states the first and only language of France is French which at the time of it being written completely ignored the fact that at least 25% of France spoke another language.

  • What is teh official colour of the United States?

Ask it like that and you realise how stupid it is.

  • Language*

  • Australia has no official language, the majority of the population speaks english, but english is not its "official religion"

  • The national language is the language spoken by the people of the country and the official language is the language used by the government.

  • @yingfelagund I'm replying after two years. Nawh I'm Malaysian, and we say it as Bahasa Malaysia :) , Malay is mostly referred to the race over here.

  • I'm Australian so I would have to say the official language is..... Elvish....

  • @TheSaramena Well of course it's easy for you if you're from Australia...

  • @Jsykes219 lol relax. I did make that thing up about New Zealand,i guessed i was wrong, but the wider point is...that unless you either live in Australia, live in New Zealand or have researched their official language; its quite possible that you might not feel secure in guessing English given the very mixed history of both Countries. Geez. will u people relax!! LMAO correcting spelling, is that meant to be a shot at my intelligence? Forget you. Smug mofo. Piss off
