@EF-I agree that a democracy is as you stated, but I'm confused because the main point of the Video was that these commandments aren't enforced in the constitution and that we must each seek God as to how the Holy Spirit will make us more like Him so we won't steal, murder, lust , etc. & not be too dependant on rituals to save us when it's Christ who saves &makes us righteous. Also, that the Law of Moses was to show us our depravity,not to make us feel like we are better than other sinners

@EqualAndFree- Interesting quote, but it is rather, part of a higher law. And in this time of Grace we have a "new and living way"(Heb 10:20) to be with God.... "For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.John 1:17" And so, "... the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.Romans 8:2" Common law can only do some much, but the perfect and holy standards of God prove one's character to be in need of grace.
