Topre Realforce 103UB Keyboard

This is the Realforce 103UB Keyboard. It uses capacitive key switches which gives the keys a unique blend of mechanical and rubber-dome feel. Quite a heavy keyboard for its size and very well built. It uses an US ASCII layout but comes also in tenkeyless versions and japanese / korean layouts.

I'm going to have to slowly migrate from my current membrane keyboard to this one. I'm so used to hammering keys (especially when gaming), I'd probably break the keys on this one pretty quickly. How durable is it? Do you think it could handle my over-enthusiastic typing?

@liamsp544 all mechanical swtich keyboards and capacitative switch keyboards will always last a lot longer than membrane based keyboards! haha

@6overclockster9 they were designed using qwerty cause back when typewriters were invented, it had to be in a way so that closely used letters didn't get caught up with each other when typing so fast - none other than that. sorry i don't "respect" my keyboard lol

I wish I could use Dvorak, but Qwerty is already ingrained. It's entirely muscle memory... it's hard to unlearn that.

This keyboard looks great, and I hope to get one eventually.

Listening to this, I was instantly reminded of my old Packard Bell keyboard. I'm going to have to put up a video of it soon, but it sounds EXACTLY like that, but it's... 16 years old and had a tree fall on it, but no one can tell.
