Agree with the others. This should never be necessary.
Nevertheless... Options options options. It should never have to come to this, but it's still nice to know that you can do this.

Waaay too much movement for splinting someone with a suspected spinal injury, I'd rather manually hold c-spine all the way to emerg than try to get this on my patient.
