Here is the slow motion view of the Victor Marx, World's Fastest Gun Disarm. Note the barrel is deflected away from the face, prior to radial arm strike. Veteran Police Officer had firm grip on the gun & couldn't pull the trigger before the disarm was performed.

thats extremely impressive...but i have a question, what happens when you encounter someone who knows how to use a gun properly? for example, all of your demonstrations i have seen show the attacker holding the pistol with one hand which is in no way propper. how would you dissarm someone gripping the pistol properly with 2 hands? no offense intended only would like to learn.

How would that work with a two handed tight grip on the weapon. Im not trying to take anythin away from the one handed disarm but it seems to me if some one had two hands on the gun that wouldnt work

why arent you leaning or stepping to the left getting outta the fireline while pushing the gun towards the right with your left hand... thats what i've learned with krav-maga is there a reason behind it ?

youtube search krav maga gun disarm... They are not as fast as Mr. Marx but a good skill to hone.

as a fellow martial artist i like to think to make your art street effective to need to make your training (as close to )the real thing as possible.have you herd of krav maga??my instructor in that art would give the more advance students realistic airsoft and or bb gun pistols and safety glasses to practice there pistol disarms in a real word setting..if you felt the bb hit you..you knew you didnt do the move fat or correctly..would you ever think of bringing that training method in your class?

You have to remember that most street thugs will be holding the gun like that. They could be using their other hand to order you or someone to do something. The point is he could do this against a vast majority of people.

Does it make any difference what type of gun it is? Wouldn't it be harder to disarm someone with say a Jennings .22? Most thugs can't afford a brand new Ruger or Sig.

Very impressive! Me and my brother came up with a technique almost identical to yours right befor he went to law enforcement school. the main differance is the person with the gun usualy ends up with a broken finger :)  Although or method was effective we never got anywhere near as fast as you are. keep up the good work!
