Of course the members of the Herodias Society will go to grotesque extremes to try to rationalize their sexual sin, and to obliterate what God's Word unambiguously and unequivocally states is sexual sin that deprives you of any inheritance in His Kingdom. God tells us exactly what He will say to the lawless adulterers of (James4:4), (1Cor6:9) and (Heb10:26-27). That is (Matt7:23): depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!

The simple fact is that the unrepentant sexually-immoral as God defines and describes them go to hell. There is no ambiguity about that. When He says that people who keep on sinning after being told the truth go to hell, we believers believe Him. We know He is not kidding. God's Word is the Truth. You can read for yourself the fate of God's enemies (James4:4; Heb10:26-27; 1Cor6:9).

Thanks for the great post - this song means so much to me having left the neurotic hypocrisy of Christian churches and found life again in the Holy Spirit and Scripture. I'll leave God to rip out the log in the self righteous eyes of those who dare to find the speck in their sister's - remembering that since the word of God does not lie, all the 'Christian' comments here will be judged under the rule of Gal 5:15, 20. May God forgive our unregenerate hateful hearts carried in His name.

@lillaquoy, when it comes to blaspheming God, there's no such thing as "keeping silent for too long." Considering blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is NEVER forgiven, not ever [Matt12:32], you'd be well advised to keep your mouth tightly shut whenever you feel compelled to side with satan to contradict God's Word. A/t God, Amy is living in adultery as an enemy of God [James4:4] enroute to hell [1Cor6:9, Heb10:26-27]. Only If satan served God's purpose to test you might you be right that He uses Amy.

Some Christians believe all mental illness is demon-possession, but whatever, with your garments covered in violence [Mal2:16], your unrepentance [Heb10:26-27], your lying [Rev21:8], & blasphemy [Matt12:32], you will share eternity with Herodias!
