@ferdonandebull I don't, I consider a .22 a good way to practice your shooting skills, it helps you get over flinch, and it is cheap. The .22 would be my last resort to protecting my family; I would prefer a baseball bat or even a mechete.

The number one reason not to have "military' looking weapons is they draw attention to you. If you are in camo with your nice military style pack and combat boots people will notice and think you have shit they want. Cops will notice and military will notice. sporting rifles are the way to go....

@bigwillyalex A .22 is a waste in a self defense load unless that is all you have. You should not have one thinking it is a self defense weapon.

you can reload Shotgun shells with tools you find in your average house. You need too learn from the Hicks who have been preparing for this moment since the 1950's. Shotgun Wad can be Wasp Nest's and you can make powder with your own piss thanks too your Natural Filter system in your Kidney. Lead can be found on most Car Tires. If a Hick with most his teeth missing can reload a empty shotgun shell, you sure as hell can.

FYI: An assault rifle is a fully automatic military grade machine gun.
What most liberals today call "Assault Rifles" are actually semi-auto guns that have no difference from semi-auto hunting rifles except for magazine size.
So please, Mr. DemCad. Take a look at your Webster's dictionary before using such a liberal mislabel as said term in said context.
