  • Btw Mitch, the verse is pretty self explanatory, women are not allowed to be clergy/pastors/elders, etc. Don't let culture or perception get in the way of the word of God.

  • @Charlie4Jesus Charlie I would tend to agree there that woman are not to be in a permament teaching position. However you have to consider. What about woman teaching an Sunday School? Do they not have teaching gifts also? I do not believe a woman should be the head pastor over a church (permanent position), however I do believe they can serve in the church just not as the head as it should be a man. God Bless you.

  • @Bearkiller777 The bible teaches women are to teach women and children, 1 Timothy simply says they cannot have authority or teach a MAN :]

  • @Charlie4Jesus Well i tend to think Woman can have speaking gifts & abilities and be able to give wisdom in the things of the Lord perhaps in the household? Hmm..interesting thought..it's been long debated over the role of woman in the church. I do believe woman can have a certain position in the church long as its not in a high leadership position. It's been long debated question and won't be resolved overnight.

  • Actually Bible and Church teachings ultimately underestimate a woman in her society . A woman is so blamesworthy according to the Bible . So as in Judaism . And as for dressing , women in Christianity do not dress as exactly as what the Bible instructs . I wish that people could realize the truth of faiths instead of being so dogmatic about them .

  • i feel alot like you about this and im alot older than you. keep up with what your doing. your humble, that will keep people's ears open to the gospel, good luck.

  • @w1cked001 no you have ignored the evidence . there have been several manuscripts that date back close to the time of Christ validating their authority that God's word has not changed.

  • @Bearkiller777 yeah, that's true, because the Bible says so. legit.

  • @w1cked001 incorrect. The Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit written through the hands of men used by God.

  • @azeezzy "I wish that people could realize the truth of faiths..." The truth of the faith is what the bible says, what people who call themselves Christians (whether they are or not) is another matter entirely. Follow the faith, not the people. Furthermore, it doesn't underestimate females, it teaches that we are different, and it's quite plan that we are. Men and women are equal but have different roles.

  • here, let me save you 10 minutes. Its bullshit written by shepherds in Arabia 2700 years ago.

  • @theseeker2k5 your invitation isnt very enticing thanks anyway
