This is an awesome game with a couple small flaws.

The encounter rate is still annoyingly high, and I wish there were a way to disable battle voices. Hearing "LAMBDA BURST" every couple minutes gets really old 40 hours into the game.

Overall, it's not enough to affect the enjoyability of the game-- just little annoyances. The characters are pretty unique for an RPG and the music is good, and I LOVE the ship battles. That is one of the most fun parts of the game.

I've never really had a problem with the encounter rate here, then again I play mostly older RPG's so it feels about right to me. Also you can skip special attack animations by pressing Start so you don't have to listen to them yell out the skills.

@batman9502 i played the dreamcast version but only got about half way through b/c i couldnt finish it the emulater wouldnt play the second disc for some stupid reason x.x anyways about the encounter rate it really isnt that bad well expect when you don't want one its like ever 2 steps xD when you do want one its like every 50 steps xD but thats probably just my luck :D
