i remember this version! Honestly I loved it so much better than the other version. I think theres more emotion and power in this version YFE is still one of my fav bands =)

I love this video - after I received my first introduction to the band, I decided to check them out, and this was the first video I saw. I knew that this group of people were amazing, and I was thankful for the opportunity to get to know them. Thanks for having me apart of the family!

Bon, c'est pas vraiment mon genre du musique, mais quand le guitariste (en tk, je crois) est venue à ma porte cette aprem j'ai acheter son album pour les encourager.

ah... I remeber when these guys added me on myspace way back. Man their pretty popular now aren't they? Also i like this version of open your eyes better. (This was the version they gave me for my birthday on myspace :D)

neat.... so in a way, this video has preserved the demo version of 'open your eyes'.... seems like the final version they choose is more in the rock category. But I can see this demo was more of a pop rock version

funny thing is, i live in newfoundland and labrador within canada, and didn't heard of them until i found them listed in the 'top artists'.... maybe that's because NL had this way of having some isolation/delay from int'll trends, in favour of local music.
Also, noticed that this version of 'open your eyes' sounds different than the one in the music video... what's the deal with that?

The reason why this version of Open Your Eyes sounds different from the one in the music video: I made this video almost 2 years ago, and the version of Open Your Eyes that was out then was this demo version. The new version of the song, the version that you know, was released one year later.

Yes I'm from the Netherlands!
And they're known around the world.. if you check their myspace you see that there are communities and street teams located allover the world! UK, Japan, Netherlands, Italy, China, Poland, Chile, Spain, France etcetc :)
