RAPID!

@damnusename Definitely based on two runs - think its the average.
-
@GreggersXXX That's right - it's like Kim Reymond running a 4.645 back in 2003, it was more than fast enough to be a new record, but it wasn't backed up. Shame, it was an incredible run
-
@damnusename for the 319mph run he made on sunday to be a record he needed to run between 316-322 again to be within 1% then the 319 would have been the record. he ran 314 in the final which was backed up by the 319 but not the other way round .. if he had run 316 .. the 319 would have bee the record. i think
-
@GreggersXXX I thought (might be wrong tho) that you had to back up a record within an hour and within 10% of that time and that it was the faster of those 2 runs that was the record.
Either way it was an impressive run an if I squint very carefully I might be able to make myself out on the other banking. :)

@GreggersXXX its all good it can easily happen .. damn those flagpoles
Just curious, how is this a new record if the same car went faster the day before?

@damnusename I'm sure someone out there will give you the full details, but it's something to do with needing 2 runs within the same event.. The slower of the two is the record.

don't mean to be picky but it was a 4.78@314 .. as usual the flag poles get in the way so it looks like a 3 haha
fantastic run urs deserved it all weekend. and the final was won by the time he went past the tree. looking forward to what the rest of the championship has to offer.
