I met Mister Rogers in 1977...I was a little kid then..

I thought the show first premiered in 1968--unless the pilot was taped in 1967. Sad how old he looks by the last part. I'm 24 and I used to love this show as a kid.

It was probably filmed in 1967, but the first program premiered on February 19th, 1968.
