  • To knit the neck band, pick up stitches in the round, on needles smaller than used on body pattern, starting at R shoulder. No. of stitches to pick up? Measure neck opening circumference X stitch gauge of rib pattern. Work ribbing w/ double decrease at center front stitch to continue V shaping. Bind off.

  • You will need circular needles to pick up the entire neckband, or a set of double points--at least 4. First needle--back neck. Second needle--left front. Third needle--right front. Fourth needle--to knit with. Center stitch in front is probably best put on a separate cable needle. Hope that helps.

  • well i don't know if you can help me or not, but i'm doing a baby sweater and just about to have the back part done and i'm just about to the shape yoke right side?...well i'll give you the web sight were the book is online and it's called baby love sweater and hat #7.

  • help neck band. i had troble finding circular needles so i did my work with 2 8 size needles but a dont know how to do the neck band now please help......................
