To knit the neck band, pick up stitches in the round, on needles smaller than used on body pattern, starting at R shoulder. No. of stitches to pick up? Measure neck opening circumference X stitch gauge of rib pattern. Work ribbing w/ double decrease at center front stitch to continue V shaping. Bind off.

You will need circular needles to pick up the entire neckband, or a set of double points--at least 4. First needle--back neck. Second needle--left front. Third needle--right front. Fourth needle--to knit with. Center stitch in front is probably best put on a separate cable needle. Hope that helps.

help neck band. i had troble finding circular needles so i did my work with 2 8 size needles but a dont know how to do the neck band now please help......................
