SANAE's entry into the 2008 Antarctic 48-hour Film Festival. This year was the first time that Antarctic research bases all over the continent were invited to participate in the traditional competition between Scott (NZ) and McMurdo (USA) bases. The film had to be created, shot and edited in the course of a single weekend from 2-4 August and had to include four randomly selected elements - a large cardboard box, a FNG or new guy, a human sound that was not speech, and the line "What do you mean you want a day off for Midwinter?"
SANAE's entry interweaves stories of acceptance, the nature of reality, and man's inhumanity to man. Oh, and we parody The Matrix, for those who have been under a rock for the last 10 years)
