Interview with an Ex-Miner

Herbert Jagusch is a German ex-miner who was held prisoner of war (in Ruthin) and who mined both in coal mines as well as "Cilcain Lead Mine" at Rhydymwyn.

He was visiting the UK for the last time and wanted to tell his life story before he returned to Germany. UCET members Ian Adams and Doug Thompson went to meet him and filmed the interview.

His story is filled with both happiness and sorrow as he talked about his time mining in Germany, the Wrexham Coal pit disaster as well as mining in Cilcain and being held a Prisoner of war.
