Why Christianity?

When someone questions your beliefs or says that you are wrong, instead of spewing rhetoric, why not actually study the argument and look at the information available and determine, with evidence, who is right. When an expert is cited, look up their credentials, etc. If a document is mentioned, read it, etc. Many New Testament authors quote Enoch (an older scripture) several times throughout the NT but have you ever bothered to read it? If the authors of the Bible thought it was an important text (and almost made it in the Bible) then why don't you?

First of all the scientists were hand picked by the Catholic Church and this group is no where near peer reviewed. No secular scientists are allowed any where near the shroud. Most of the people studying the shroud couldn't even qualify as a scientist. One was even just a Captain in the Air Force. Walter C. McCrone, who studied the shroud and who has credentials to back up his research, completely debunks the shroud as anything other than a painting. Pseudo-Science fails again.
