The Paladin is my second SHIP (seriously huge investment in parts). It is a warship designed to disable carriers (with its two fixed cannons on the roof), and then escape before fighters can be sent in pursuit.

  • no offence but i think thats a pelta-class frigate. ive never heard of the paladin but it could be it

  • @Bioniclefan58 Umm, it's my own design, and I named it the Paladin. I never said it was modeled after anything.

  • That is sweet as dude. Roughly how much did all the parts cost you?

  • @sneakyfred Thanks! Most of the parts came from my existing collection. Purchasing them all would probably cost at least $1000.

  • @BluesMan109 Holy crap, that's ridiculous. I have quite a large collection of bits and bobs, but unfortunately they're not particularly colour-coordinated; it makes large-scale models like this a bit hard to do. Nice work though! When's the next instalment?

  • @sneakyfred I've amassed a lot of gray over the years--I probably have more of it than every other color put together.

The next installment is already complete. Check out the Manticore. I can't post a link here, but it's the most recent video in my channel.

  • how much do you want for it?

  • $600 for it

  • Just about every sci fi spaceship i come across has frickin huge boosters. That wasnt much of a problem with your ship, though

  • what was the first lego SHIP you built?

  • nice ship.

  • Mate, that is superb, quite superb, Dan K, London UK.

  • compare it with a big star wars set like a atot or something

  • is it scaled?

  • simply amazing

  • I think it's neat when people model existing designs, but the real beauty is when people strike out and make their own creations. Love the engine clusters and front-end detailing.
