@sjtom57 Not speeded up on purpose.. it is a security DVR and plays back at that speed. however the still images from the device are excelent and it records up to 90 days of driving time.

@wildbill6976 trouble is the lawyers get hold of you and it ends up being the truckers fault.. hence these cameras..I have changed from the Merc to a Scania but have not fitted the kit.. I drove a truck in the states for a year and found at the time SAAB drivers fast 4x4 car drivers were the worst..(not 4x4 truck) And watch out for anyone driving a Big old Domestic American car swerving along the road

I have always been a good driver by good i mean safe. I then learnt to drive a class 2 truck and although i dont drive one often I am more aware of what shit truck drivers have to deal with. people think they are just big cars... how wrong!! I had 2 minor on my test 1 was for not looking in my left mirror after a left turn the other was for making a vehicle slow down for me when joining a motorway. thats how strict all tests should be for cars too.

I get close misses from idiots like that cutting me up everyday whilst I'm driving public service buses in manchester. They must think big vehicles like ours are made out of lovely soft springy sponge with the stupid risks they take.

I've had a car cut me up like this on a dual carriageway; I was going at 70mph and he must have been going at 50mph. Had to put on my breaks hard and when I beeped at him to make him aware of his mistake so as to realize how close he was to having me rear end him, he gave me a pissed off look.
