*Note I cut out 5 minutes fromt he begining of this video in order to be under the 10min. for Youtube.*
I used DosBox Wii build v44, HBC 1.0.1, and the Windows 95 Upgrade version for this video. The odd read coloring is because I'm using the EGA311.exe driver in Win95 in order for the video to generate right on the Wii. Sorry it's so painfully long, I did cut out 5 minutes of the boot process in between to two video parts. It took about 12 1/2 minutesjust to boot into windows, so don't expect to see the Start bar until about the second half of this video. Basically unusable as you can see from how fast Solitaire comes up, not to mention its increadably unstable. But I did it and now I can move on to more productive things. I'll have a walk through on my site in a few days in how I did it, but really it's a waste of time until DosBox gets faster and stabler on the Wii.

    1. To the Win3.11 statement; I have run Win 3.11 and it does run a lot better on the Wii.

    2. To the QEMU statement; I wasn't aware that the Linux builds for the Wii, (whiite-linux, etc) could run QEMU under them yet.

    3. To the why run Win95 question/statement on the Wii; Much like knuxthefox said, it's a proof of concept. I did it because I believed I could and at the time I did it there was debate on whether it was possible. Running Win95 / Linux on a PC is easy, Wii not so much.

  • this isnt fake.really.

  • I wish it was fake, it would have saved me some time.
