@TrashCan16 the book makes the movie look like the Teletubbies, its quite sick, and enjoyable at the same time.

Love.

It seems more like the perspective of Ellis at the time he was writing American Psycho than Bateman's perspective.

This song I do not like of manics it offends me now.

@TheDicer1000 While your personal interpretation of lyrics is subjective, what a song was written about is an objective fact, known by the writer. Nicky Wire has confirmed that this is about the book 'American Psycho'. There is not a case for your misinterpretation.

This is what happens when you have the intent to make the 'best Song Ever' - Which I believe was the Manics' intent at the time. What you end up with is this; A good, if slightly ham-fisted song with pretty good lyrics, though clunky in places. It's a good song. Though Comfort Comes wins hands-down as the best b-side of the GATS era

@TheDicer1000 Oh yes, because that's why they named the song "PATRICK BATEMAN" after the main character of American Psycho and reference the book throughout it. It's all secretly about The Dice Man, despite a lack of any kind of reference what-so-ever.
