Barnes Family Light-O-Rama 2001 Space Odessey (2008)

We have 64,000 Lights all sequenced to music. We have songs from TSO, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Spongebob's first Christmas, and a few more. We started this tradition 3 years ago. Our 3 little girls loved dancing to Christmas music around our Christmas tree. So my husband and I thought it would be fun to make Christmas lights go with Christmas music. Now our kids run, dance, and play under, and around the Christmas lights to there favorite Christmas songs.We also thought it would be nice to hold a toy drive here for everyone to come see the lights, and donate a toy for children who really need it. My oldest daughter is in a Girl Scout troop, that comes here during the holiday season, and gives out candy canes to all who come. Whether they give a toy or not. Last year we received over 200 toys for our local Children's Receiving home. I think our children learn a lot from giving during the Holiday season, and that It's great to think of others.
