Euro NCAP carried out sine-with-dwell tests according to the ESC GTR global technical regulation, which is based on the US regulation FMVSS126. The testwere completed on all cars whose results were released in 2009. For cars that allowed the ESC system to be switched off, tests were carried out with ESC ON and OFF. Cars were tested by undergoing multiple runs, sometimes as much as 60 per car, each time increasing the steering angle and input. The clip shows the first ESC off test where the car span out. The ESC on test is the one with the same steering input.

  • @Oscaracciato75 Actually it goes to show you how the car can handle certain sudden situations. It is a awesome test.

  • That's a safety feature. It turns automatically. Don't know why.

  • @Oscaracciato75 yeah but some people dont brake fast enough or correctly so the system dose it for you. its just to keep the vehicle on track.

  • @sodurlu88 no, English IS officially international language for over 10 years. and it's not his idea its the nations choice!

  • @sodurlu88 english is international language, i called it like that coz it's in the school education of 90% of the countries in the world, it's one of the easiest languages to learn and speak and, i'm not ordering anyone, i said please. and i'm croat. so, ponašaj se kako treba kretenčino jedna idiotska. ;)

  • @LoveTheCity123 awesome? sure. but who react like this in real world? without braking, only turning steering wheel and turning it back exactly where it was.

It's an awesome test, sure, but it's pointless imho.

    (btw: i prefer oversteering cars!)

  • what a stupid test.........

  • @Juanjosepardoperez Sólo estaba diciendo que se trata de sitio internacional y las personas deben escribir en Inglés:)

Escribí esto con traductor Google lo siento si es apenas comprensible: D
