In a computer analogy, if I made a piece of software smart enough to create virtual stuff in a virtual world, and AIs capable of using that stuff and make tools out of that stuff, they would only be able to measure that stuff.

How could they realise the simulation... They have no means to look at the computer or the transistors that makes it run.

All they (AIs) can see is the virtual world and possibly glitches in the simulation. The glitches would be the key to understanding.

Yes, of course; my point is: Everything we know and perceive/experience ,from sunsets to music ,love,joy ,philosophy ,literature,courage and self-sacrifice results from this interplay of matter-energy! How does this emerge from primoral dust and lifeless energy following a self-causing "big bang". I believe that consciousness eternally exists and 'directs' energy and matter from a 'larger non-physical dimension of Self-hood

And the Big Bang didn't fucking cause itself, it's not even the beginning of the god damn universe, it's the beginning of the universe As It Is Today.

Before the Big Fucking Bang, there was a singularity. It states that In The Fucking Theory.

Aren't the concepts of god and soul just as invalid as the concepts of time and space as these all originate from the same thing, the human mind? I think so. The mind-space, the 3D spacial VR mind experience includes time. The electromagnetic soup of real-space (or dimension) from which the senses and the mind/brain system construct mind-space are devoid of those attributes as such.
