at what age can the german shepherd begin learningt this kind of work?

my 1 year and 1/2 gsd will stand infront of me and bark but if the person took it too far she jump on there arm and put them down, i didn't train her, same wit the pups beautiful gsd btw

that was awesome to watch.i have a 4 month old gsd who sits,and heals, and i can walk with off the leash outside. im now teaching him to bite using a word each time, and hes really got the hang off it. i try not to tug at the moment since he is still teething. any other suggestions? its my 1st dog and ive been doing all the training myself, with the help of you guys and youtube. i dont have the armsleeve. I have the bite pillow. Where can i get one,and about how much do they cost?

Hi, sounds like you are off to a great start. Actually the sleeve and bite work shouldn't be done by you. You need to look into schutzhund clubs in your area...or trainers. germanshepherddog dot com that is open to all breeds and several in the country there is also the WDA
