Classes are never cancelled at SUNY oswego so when they are, you know its got to be bad. Intense wind + snow + whiteout conditions = snowday for oswego students.

  • Just got accepted here! Can't wait for this kind of weather :)

  • When they hear "2 inches of snow expected" They raid the stores like it's a damn cattle outreach

  • I Live in central Oklahoma.... if it were to do this, school would be canceled for 2-3 weeks... no joke

  • I was a freshmen during this storm and I can tell you it is no deception, over a hundred inches, I could not see my hand in front of my face and we go lost walking to Mackin Hall. A total of 3 days of school were canceled. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

  • Ok ok didn't want to look mean for all those looking at this video, they don't always cancel classes past a certain limit...good luck adapting to the weather if you come to this nice school. Peace

  • yea right, I'm a junior at Suny Oswego and they canceled classes for weather like this.....but not for days that are only a couple inches...come on now...this video is a bit deceptive........is this an inside job by Culkin?!?!?! lol

  • Wow I am sorry but this town is run by your business so you need to learn that this is normal Oswego weather. I have been livin in Oswego since I was born and I am 15 so I am used to this weather

  • How do you expect kids to focus in their class in this kind of weather? Cancelling the classes would make at least a little more sense with the fun. I'd respect at least one or two days off, but anything over that should be considered open.

  • That's sucky for you. But Oz is having housing problems for students, which is why they are trying to build those apartments as fast as they can. Hopefully, you got in somewhere else!

  • congradulations!! maybe i'll see you there as well... as I got accepted too!

  • ahh.. good times... can't wait... I'm gonna be there next fall of 09 as well, I'm so excited!! I just got accepted!!

  • i just got mine in the mail today :)

  • wow I remember that! haha was that the same week we got the like 4 feet in one day? I couldn't even get my car out of the driveway! lol

  • going there next fall, whoo!

  • Have you thought of moving there? I will complete my schooling here and then search for open teaching positions over there.

  • I can't wait. I'm at JCC right now in Watertown, and transferring next year. I think the snow is pretty bad around Watertown and Sackets Harbor, but I can't wait for Oswego.

  • We hardly ever get snow like that in Duluth, MN, and Duluth is even farther north. I wish Lake Superior had more of an influence on our snow.

  • I miss SUNY OSwego!!!
