Here is my Lamy Safari Fountain Pen. A short review and tutorial/tips on how to refill your pen and some good accessories to add to your collection.

I ordered this pen from ibwc© for $25.00 including shipping, an ink cartridge, and a nib. Unfortunately, ibwc© no longer supplies pens and pen accessories, so I wasn't able to order another great pen from their company, so don't bother asking in the description how to get one this inexpensive.

You can get an ink converter from Lamy.com (USA - just type in 'lamy' in google) or specialized pen stores, like Paradise Pen Company. You could probably also get one at CultPens.com, a British writing utensil company. (That's where I got my fine nib)

Anyway, thank you for watching. Comment, rate, and subscribe please, and also check out my minecraft videos if you're a minecrafter.

  • What kind of nib is this one?F or....?

Please answer me because i'm thinking of buying a Lamy Safari and i don't know what nib to buy.I like thicker ones like M

  • @86stelist Yes, this is a Fine Lamy nib. You would like the medium. That's basically standard and probably the most popular.

  • @PickaxePig hey cool vid man, but i waswondering can you use normal ink cartridges with it rather than lamy brand ones ??

  • @Wh0Dr I wish I could answer that - but I don't know what you mean by 'normal' . As long as the cartridge you want to use is the same dimensions as the Lamy T10 cartridge, you're good to go. Make sure its the same diameter and length as the Lamy. I wouldn't count on it working, though, most cartridges are shaped differently depending on their brand. I'd recommend getting a Z24 Lamy converter, so you can use whatever kind of ink you want from a bottle. :) Thanks for the question.

  • You do know a 10 pack of ink cartride is only $4.53 dollars on amazon

  • @blackjidragonchoas In the long run, cartridges will cost you a lot more than a converter and a couple of bottles of ink.

  • @86stelist It based on type of ink flow to made liners, thin or thick . You should buy a F(0,6 mm) nib, on fountainpen network, many people say that lamy EF(0,4~0.5) have a bit scratchy .

  • I am glad you found my link. I love pens and mine craft. Take care my friend

  • @Wh0Dr The LAMY ink cartridges are proprietary. They only work in LAMY cartridge/converter pens.

Ultimately, it's better to just use a converter and fill from an ink bottle. There is SO much variety with bottled ink that it's much better than cartridges.

  • @PickaxePig Ah right and FYI i meant a international cartridge - the standard ones that aren't made for any specific model of fountain pen
