  • DON'T cover with foil it reflects the sunlight

Put a meat thermometer inside thats visible to you

Use a black pan or pot with a black top.

    Good luck!

  • Some tips:

    1) paint the jar black, leave a strip transparent by putting a piece of tape from top to bottom while painting. (remove later)

    2) Isolate the box by e.g. inserting it in anther box and stuff it up with cardboard, bottom and sides.

    3) Use a heat-proof top so that the heat builds up in the oven part.

    4) Tilt the oven slightly so that you make maximum use of the Sun.

    Good luck

  • yeah what a dumb arse aussie ;)

  • @evilmarke and he called half cooked a sucess but not so. your right throw it out!

  • @evilmarke true actually even though salminella poisoning the bacteria would multifply and though destroyed with cooking the meat would still taste nasty.

  • only half cooked after 7+hours try throwing it out not just cooking it on a stove the chickens tempreture would of been about 30-45c at most the most perfect tempreture to breed trillions of germs

  • If the chicken is half cooked, better finish it up on the stove cause you don't want salminella poisoning
