As shown at the beginning of the 2010 Hugo Awards ceremony, hosted as part of Aussiecon 4 in Melbourne, Australia. All the individuals and works nominated for awards are represented, as well as other notable contributions, news stories and landmark scientific events from 2009 - the year covered by the 2010 awards.

  • My zine is at 6:57 or so. My face is at 6:59. Oh well.

  • @GHLIII Yep - in that category, all the zine editors appear after their zine.

  • Congratulations to all the Hugo winners - and best wishes to those who nearly won. Many thanks to Cheryl, Mur, Kevin and everyone who worked on the live coverage for making it such a great experience for those of us who couldn't be there. Many thanks to Vince and Kate for their input and guidance on the video, and thanks for all the nice comments online.

  • Nice work! saw it live at aussiecon 4. Well done!

  • If I could figure out how to get out of

    my own Clockwork Orange nightmare

I might make it to London in 2014.

Of course, there is no way out

as long as the funding cannot run out

    which makes everything unpossible.

  • Saw your work live at the Awards presentation. Thanks for putting it up on the web for others to see. Brilliant work!

  • @MarkSlater42 Still - RTD finally gets a Hugo for something he's written!

  • @MsJohnDrake Slight clarification. 'The End Of Time' as a whole made the long list for Best Dramatic Presentation, Long Form, but ultimately didn't make the short list.

  • @MarkSlater42 Oh right, didn't realise they had actually been nominated, I thought they were part of the 2009 review highlights.

  • @MsJohnDrake 'The Next Doctor' is/was nominated in the Dramatic Presentation Shortform category so is/was actually up for a Hugo, and 'The End Of Time' was initially shortlisted (as well as the build up to regeneration and the announcement of the identity of the11th Doctor being a 2009 news event). Whether their inclusion is 'wrong' is simply down to where you set your criteria.
