lets not forget the incredible lenny white on drums. he doesn't show off on this clip but he plays what the song needs and he is masterful! and yes chaka is just....my goodness!

My son is a bass player and Stanley has always been his idol and this is why. Chaka, I have always loved her voice and she is still hot.

I agree with lpn: Stanly Clarke and Chaka Kahn deserve a place in the Hall for all their contributions that have received extraordinary fan appreciation. This piece seems like they all were simply having fun, with a fair amount of improvisation, nothing tight, just enjoying the funk of it all, at a time when Chaka was at her vocal, peak, perhaps, and as fine as she wanted to be.

Why isn't Stanley Clark in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame/ What he did for the bass has influenced everyone in rock, jazz and music in general. For that matter why hasn't Chaka Khan made it. this women has won 10 or 12 Grammys and can do anything from R&B, Funk, rock and jazz/
