Please note that there weren't a lot of images of his perfect game, so these are just some images I found around. Most of them are ill-timed. At least its something. Enjoy Vin Scully's legendary call (note that he mentions the time several times).

He was arguably the best pitcher in my 56 years.
I'm a Met fan.

I'd say that they had 7 really good years.
Don't critique unless you are informed.

Yea, sorry to say, but 3 years everything else was horrendous.

Well then, you've missed the mid 80's, including 86.
My comment only alluded to that year, when the Mets had Seaver, Koosman, Gentry, etc, and it made for a very competitive west coast road trip. In that trip, the Mets won series over the Giants (Marichal, Perry), & Dodgers (Koufax, Drysdale, Sutton). It provided the momentum, which carried them to the championship.
After 86, and except for the 2000 World Series, I agree with your acronym.
I have to agree with your point, though.

It was a thrill, sitting in the loge seats along the 3rd base line and watching this gem--BOTH pitchers.

I'm sure he was great when he was at his best, but didn't dominate long enough! I don't think he belongs in the Hall of Fame. Highly overrated!!
