Patriotism isn't about self.. that's why egotism, superiority, and cultural bias are incorrect when refering to the word patriotism.

@daviru02 You guys misinterpreted what I was saying. Patriotism being "racism with a flag" wasn't intended literally. It was intended as a metaphor to describe the same type mentality of egotism, superiority, cultural bias and other general ignorance’s most commonly seen in actual racism. Instead of perpetuating race or color of skin as superior, you replace it with a flag which represents a corrupt country and it’s essentially the same mentality.
