Hey Moira, get a clue. These stem cell "lines" are nothing more(or less) than pieces of human beings trying to develop and differentiate into more mature tissue. They're trying to tell you that they don't belong in a petrie dish.

Much as the occasional circus elephant goes berserk(they belong in the wild, not in a tent), these embryonic cells, programmed for eons to develop into a walking talking thinking individual, are "stressed" as you call it for obvious reasons.

Biotechs profit more from embryonic stem cells (which are patentable) than your own (which are not). They have no qualms about exploiting poor women around the world to undergo the potentially life-threatening process of egg donation (yes, you can die from it) and then turning their their backs when the complications occur. They are better for profits, not for cures.
