Paul was a huge perfectionist in his music. However, the context was (or looked like)
Person 1: All the beatles did drugs
Person 2: Not Paul, he was clean and perfect
... which in that context would be untrue because we do know that, for better or for worse, Paul did do certain drugs. I wasn't mentioning his music, if you notice I later called him the best bass player I could possibly think of.

Yes....you write like you personally know Paul and were there when he took drugs. Shut up and enjoy the music.
