Just a Riff Eldridge Roy 1951
A second short riff tune from a short French film made in 1951 shows what looks like a group of very good French jazz musicians backing up the trumpet player who looks and sounds like Roy Eldridge. Please help with more info!
Luc Degeorges told me the the pianist was Claude Bolling!
Roy is such a genious!!! The pianist certainly Claude Bolling, whom I saw perform live tonight at Le Petit Journal, and we spoke about Roy Eldridge. He told me they recorded together in the 50's, including two duo tracks.

That's "Little Jazz", all right - ain't NOBODY else ever produced THAT sound...
Man, them Frenchies really got Roy all worked up that night - I am lovin' it!

Its a French piece so they are going to highlight the French players more than Roy.

@Jazzanswer -- Just because they were more interested to show the groovy drummer. He paid them more ... probably? ;)

Why oh why did the camera person focus everywhere but where Roy was playing?
I suppose we have to be grateful for whatever glimpses we can get.
