  • Dottie was so beautiful here. She aged so gracefully. She really did! the older she got the prettier she was I think.

  • Amen!Amen!Amen! That voice and anointing kept me through a very difficult childhood. I will forever be grateful for being introduced to wonderful Dottie by my dear Aunt Mildred. I love you Dottie!

  • I had the privilege of seeing Buck and Dottie in person during a concert in the 80s. I left that concert totally in love with her and her songs, and a changed person. There is nothing sweeter than the love of Christ, and this song, along with so many more just makes my heart sing.

  • dottye was my dear friend and sings so beautiful and looked beautiful as well. i could do without seeing buckey again. he was not good to my precious friend and neither was her daughter. it hurts to see people so good mistreated. it is the work of theh devil.

  • Such a wonderful woman! Sighs beautiful voice and smile! And she was a beautiful person inside and out! But she is no longer in pain she is in heaven singing for god in person!!!! -3

  • @24kevinB I think where the UPC is referring (and I could be wrong) is the scripture that reads that a woman isn't to wear anything that pertaineth to a man. Only the Levitical priests wore something called breeches (similar to pants) and women in the bible were strictly forbidden to do so. However, preaching that a woman can't go to heaven because she wears pants, I don't particularly agree with. It's like they're putting a person's salvation on their apparel.

  • @jdpartist They do teach against these things and the reason I use the term criticize is because of the brash way that they tend to express it. The reason I say hate is because of them saying people wont go to heaven for something like women wearing pants, I dont see that in the Bible. And saying they are the one true church, the thing about this is God said some from every church would enter Heaven.

  • @24kevinB - I'm not UPC, so forgive me for not understanding your point. Did the UPC teach that she shouldn't cut her hair/wear makeup/be a part of the Christian network? Or did they put her down for doing so? Teaching against something and criticizing something are two different things. I'm not familiar with all of the UPC teachings or Dottie Rambo's history with them, so forgive my ignorance.

Besides, what are they preaching that's so hateful?

    Thanks,

    John

  • @24kevinB ok Thanks. Yeah i think so too. But I believe salvation is not about appearance, its about the heart and your condition. I think God wants us all to be lovely and put our selves together in a lovely way

  • @simzdabest22, the "UPC is the United Pentecostal Church, they criticized her for cutting her hair and wearing makeup, and being part of the christian networks she was involved in, anyhow the UPC needs to preach God's mercy instead of hate. thanks for asking.
