The new Willis Avenue Bridge which connects Manhattan and the Bronx over the Harlem River was constructed in Port of Coeymans (near Albany, NY) and shipped via the Hudson River to Military Ocean Terminal at Bayonne then towed to the East River where it opened on October 2, 2010.

Here we see the Willis Avenue Bridge in the Hudson at Newburgh, NY with the Newburgh-Beacon ferry right behind it.
