Oddworld Quintology (Part 1) - Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee & Exoddus review

This is my review on the Oddworld Quintology, which was created by Oddworld Inhabitants. Here in part 1 of the Oddworld Quintology, I'll be reviewing Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus. Rather than doing a review separately, I want to discuss about these two games because this month I'm currently working on Cinematic Platformers which the first two Oddworld games are all about. In my book, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee is one of the most important games in gaming history which the interactive gameplay & design, gamespeak, and more which was never done before it. Then Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus (the sequel) came and did more of what Oddysee has accomplished. In the future, I'll be continuing the Oddworld Quintology series review on Oddworld: Munch's Odysee (Part 2) and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath (Part 3). It would take a while for me to finish this series because I'm heavily on schedule and I need to take time to finish other video games to review. @tombafan 6 months from now. I'm taking my time with the Oddworld Quintology review because each of next two games need time to evaluate, plus I have a HUGE number of videos to make in the future.

Great review! and amazing games, absolute classic games that i'm just getting back into! I thought this game was maybe only hard cause I ws a kid when I had it but nah, it's still solid :P. 10/10

Fantastic dedicated and honest review! Even though there are fewer people that appreciate a good well thought review, you should at least take comfort in the fact that those people that do are very VERY hard to impress, and you managed it with flying colors!

I remember when i was about 8. Going to the video shop and asking an employee whats a good game for play station 1, He showed me Oddworld: Abe's oddysee. I hired it.

I absouletely loved it, Still do.

Being young, it gave me a sense of fear, excitement and joy.

Hiding in the shadows from sligs etc made my stomach churn as if it was acctually me hiding in there.

The graphics for it's time were amazing.

The 2nd and 3rd levels were just Insane.

Strategy>Mindless game play.

I'm going to be a nerd and tell you that *technically* abe's exodus and stranger's wrath aren't quintology games. Oh well, good informative review! They're only 5.50 bundled on steam so I think I'll get them

I never encountered the area at 10:45. Is it just in the PS version or I just missed it altogether ?
