What are bats doing now: June

Female bats give birth to a single young, which they feed on their milk. Adult bats will be catching up to 3000 insects each in a night... !

Here in Berlin we have also bats. A few times I've tried to film the animals. It was always a letdown. You have shown me the only way how it works. I'll take a tripod.

@mbhsug ~ I think it is best to have a static video camera on a tripod pointing to the sky so they are silhouetted... But I would like to add the Bat ultra sonic sound to the film ! If anyone on You Tube has a good idea which is the best one to use please let me know ?

@simbirdcom I don't know very much about ultrasound. But I know that ultrasound is not audible to humans. If you want to make it audible, you have to play it slower. Then the sound is deeper and audible. But I think this fact is not new for you :) Have a good week.
