Their steeds were not worn - they were criminally neglected. Dead right it's sad - someone should have been done for wasting tax-payers money. As for being friendly, my experience is that most are, if you are sensible. A few go out of their way to be arkward, probably because of some charlie they had encountered before.

I notice that quite a few of the footplate staff seem to be friendly, even though their steeds were very worn. The rail staff of today are not so friendly. Some might say, that they have little to be friendly about. Sad really.
