Video Features: Go to 7:50 to see the difference between how styling with a comb compared to styling with the Bass Brush (Denman Style). When I combed her hair with the Ox Horn Comb the hair was still slightly separated, but when I glide the Bass Brush through her hair the texture clumped together. The Bass Brush is hands down No. 1 in my book. Ox horn comb is suppose to prevent split ends because there are no seams in the teeth of the comb. My homemade Flaxseed aka Chouli Gel, it's currently not for sale, just some homemade gel that I mix up :) Thanks for Watching. We appreciates your love and support. Much Love.

awe, youtube must have just turned the audio off... I came to respond to your comment letting you know that you can see her length of her hair on my flickr albumn (nappychronicles). Thanks for the comment. I can't believe the audio is off :(

  • her hair is beautiful! also, where did you purchase your Bass brush? I cnt find then online anywhere. I have a Denman but i HATE it. its way too hard on my hair. i heard tho that the bristles on the Bass brush are more flexible.

I purchased the Bass Brush from Whole Foods in Baton Rouge. If your local Whole Foods do not carry it then you can request that they do and most of the time if they will. The SKU on the back of the brush I have now says, at the top of the bar code BAS 201, below the bar code 7 36473 10073 1 . check out TheHairDocCompany(dot)com as well, I do not think they sell them but you may be able to inquire.

  • I USE THE SAME ROUTINE WHEN WASHING MY LITTLE BROTHERS HAIR. HE HAS THE SAME TEXTURE HAIR AS YOUR DARLING DAUGHTER. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT HIS HAIR SHEDS EVERYTIME I COMB THROUGH IT. DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER TECHNIQUES TO USE ON THAT 3C/4A

IF SO PLEASE SHARE BECAUSE A HEAD THAT SHEDS ISNT HAPPY THANK YOU...

I only 'comb' through her hair with an ox horn or Bass Brush whiel the hair is wet with either conditioner or a product that has slip. Never towel dry before combing with product. Also according to how long his hair is, usually once you apply the conditioner in the hair, along with the running water and your fingers usually will do the trick alone). hopes this helps and if you have any questions comment back :O)

the tools you use is the key. invest in a Bass Brush (found at whole foods, if your local whole foods do not carry them ask them if they can, ususally if you ask they will) or you can try the Denman Brush (found at sally's, also I believe Denman has a website where you can purchase). invest in either a Bone or Ox Horn Comb (both can be found on Ebay or google search bone comb , then ox horn comb. And of course the products you use has a lot to do with it.
