This is a video of me first showing that the TV input is ok using a child TV game. Then I unplug this and connect the iPhone 3g with the cable from dealextreme. Using a video in the ipod application I try to view but I can only hear sound... I then open a picture and still no video!

  • You might need to buy a new 1

  • Well, I used this video as reference when I issued a complaint to the supplier (dealextreme) and they sent me a replacement and now everything is working as it should! Thanks.

  • you have to download tv out 2 from cydia to get it to work

  • READ THE INSTRUCTIONS

connected to a USB port or an adapter, not because I had wondered usb output?

  • this happend to me to u cant play the video till all three cables are plugged in it didnt work for me so i restarded the video and it worked

  • 3rd party that y

  • Its a 3rd party av cable so if yu got it of a ebay it wont work on 3.0 or higher but yu can change the iapd file ( has to be jailbroken) i change my iapd file once but my ipod was way to slow so i updated to 4.0 best thing ive ever done jailbreaking yur ipod is cool but its better when its unjailbroken trust me

  • Have you tried setting up it in Settings/iPod/TV Out and choosing the appropriate signal output for your TV?

  • go on cydia and search for tvout and install then reboot..

  • Composite cables are usually pinned for older model iPods though I got lucky with my Dynex composite which connects my 3G to TV just fine. This is likely the issue

The first thing youll want to do is double check the TV input is set to Composite. Once that is verified go to Settings > iPod (make sure youve selected NTSC, and not PAL), you also want Widescreen OFF. Try playing a movie or photo now.

  • Tried installing my cable tonight,I also only get sound and no picture!!Purchased from Digiflex via Amazon.

    K3V.

  • Same Thing, my cable don't work!!!!
