Really useful information. First info I've seen on voicing that explains 'why' one does certain things in voicing. Most voicing presentations say "Do this, then that, and perhaps you might want to do this other thing" with no explanations why. I often wonder if the presenter knows why. Thank you very much. Keep up the good work!

Good video on voicing techniques that are difficult to get good info on. Looking forward to your next video. Thanks

I recently bought a 4-needle tool. Do you ever use of one those, instead of the 3-needle type?

Good demo. Personally speaking though, I've come to use electric voicing which yields very good results. The advantages over "traditional" voicing:
1)Less strain on one's hand and forearm.
2)Less chance of breaking a hammer at the shank(if that point is already weak).
3)Takes less time.
4)Less need for subsequent checking(meaning all the time necessary to check on each individual note afterwards).

Iam a piano tuner and have done some voicing. Your eplanation and illustrations of what voicing is all about are very helpful.

Hi Ron !
Well done ! What a good idea to put this on video. I'm sure many will benefit from seeing the thing happen, instead of reading about it.
