    what a pleasure to see her doing well even at her age. Most people believe that lata made it very difficult for any other female singer to pose a competition and perhaps thats why she ended up leaving so early. Lata even made it hard for her own sister asha too. Anyways i wish Shamshad Begum all the best, her unmatch contribution to indian cinema would always be remembered and celebrated.

    Shamshad Begum Saheba ko is interview mein dekhkar aur unki saadgi bhari batein sunkar dil khush khush ho gaya. Unki aawaz mein jo gane hein woh bemisaal hein, aur unhe sunkar bohat lutf aata hai. Unki aawaz mein apne hi andaaz ki ik melody hai jo kano ko bhali lagti hai. Hindustani film music ko unke anmol contribution per hamesha rashk aur naaz rahega.
