  • Just thought I'd pop by and see how you've been, MM. This is fantastic! I always loved Wang Chung, and playing it on the mandolin gives it a fresh twist. You're very talented, wish I could perform on stage like this. :) Janet

  • @onewomanandsomesongs Thanks, Janet. I was always a terribly selfconscious kid and figured out years (decades?) later that the best cure was to push myself to get up in front of people and perform, and the more often the better.  At a rate of a couple of times a month I can keep the nerves and jitters down to a semi-manageable amount. Still, live performances never go as well as rehearsals technically, though they can still go great as far as the audience's enjoyment is concerned. Tnx agn!

  • I have just started to play the classical guitar and can play a few simple pieces OK now but when I play infront of an audience it's a different ball game. You did well.
