All conspiracies aside, the 1994 Rangers don't win anything after 1999. With or without a salary cap, you can't win with recycled, over the hill veterans. What we're in for is more of last year - a very young team at its core with a few veterans sprinkled in. The rules have changed. The fans whose teams win cups aren't true hockey fans, so you need something to help draw fans - get serious, the Hawks all look like a bunch of male models or frat boys. That's what the NHL is about now.

This is why the Rangers won the cup in 94. Keenan, Kocur, Messier, Graves etc etc. They didnt take shit from anybody. Not like before or after. The Rangers were a joke before and after this season and I've cried a river of tears over this team over the years. Like somebody said after this season, "now I can die in peace"
