This video interview is about the EasyStreet Sportsbook casino dispute whereby an offshore bettor won $46,000 but did not receive payment. This issue has caught fire on SBR's posting forum. Everyone in SBRforum's Sportsbook & Industry section has chimed in with their stance, so if you haven't already, check it out and let us know what you think! In short, cory1111 accumulated a total balance of 46 thousand dollars playing the video Poker game Jacks Or better at Easy Street's casino. EasyStreet refused to pay him claiming that Cory used third-party software to mechanically play several thousand hands at a rate that a human would be unable to maintain. EasyStreet says that in addition to the speed of play, the gambler played perfect strategy throughout his video poker session. SBR mediator Justin 7 made a video highlighting Easy Streets' claims as inaccurate, and recommended that Easy Street pay the player unless real evidence can be produced showing that rules were broken. One issue at the forefront of this dispute is Cory's credibility. His reputation has come under question, as it has been put forth by Easy Street and confirmed by a number of sources that Cory has been banned by multiple sportsbooks for fraudulent activity. So in this interview we try to get his side of the story, and here are the questions we asked him:
QUESTION 1: So the 46,000 dollar question is did you use a bot to mechanically play your hands?
QUESTION 2: Now supposing that you have been completely wronged by EasyStreet, you don't exactly have a reputation as an honest player and it has been reported that you've been banned from a number of books. Can you tell us which books you're banned from and why?
QUESTION 3: You've been accused of a chargeback's, whereby you deposit money by credit card and then cancel the transaction through your credit card company when you lose or after the books have already paid you winnings. Many people are claiming that this is what you did at NorthBet but we actually have evidence that although you did cheat NorthBet you didn't actually charge back. However we also have evidence that you did chargeback another sportsbook and have since been banned. Do you have any comment on this?
QUESTION4: Now that's the past let's talk about this specific dispute. So Easystreet have 4 elements in their argument for not paying your balance. Can you run us through the night and explain to us how it happened.
QUESTION 5: I'm specifically interested in your reaction to a Royal Flush, why didn't you pause immediately after such a celebrated hand?
QUESTION 6: There is a 649,739 to 1 chance of a royal flush. You had 3 on the night in question with Easy Street and another book informed us that you had 2 with them so that's 5 that we are aware of. Can you tell us approximately how many hands you think you've played in your lifetime and how many royal flushes you've been dealt.
QUESTION 7: When was the last time you spoke to Easy Street and what did they say?
QUESTION 8: SBR Mediator Justin7 wrote a post saying that "There were extensive discussions on this. In these discussions, Cory offered to fly to Costa Rica and play. EZStreet could have a representative watch, and immediately receive game-log data. EZStreet rejected the proposal" Can you tell us more about this.
QUESTION 9: Digital Gaming Solutions or DGS software is used by many industry sportsbooks, Easy Street included. You've posted on SBRForum that you spoke to the DGS owner and even he recommended that EasyStreet pay the winnings. Can you tell us more about this, who you spoke to and exactly what he said?
QUESTION 10: Easy street has since asked SBR to stop contacting them as The RX,and specifically Wilheim, is handling the dispute. Have you spoken to the RX recently and how are they handling the situation?
QUESTION 11: But realistically what do you think is going to happen next and what do you think the end result will be?
QUESTION 12: So assuming easystreet paid you back in full, would you try to correct your own karma and pay back the books that you may have illegitimately borrowed from?
Thanks to cory 1111 for his cooperation throughout this interview.
