Currently running my self a 1991 1.8 8v Digifant. Running cams, new pulley system, 4 branch, straight through system, fully adj koni coil overs, re-map pushing on a estimate now roughly 145ish :)

I have a 92 16v model in Tornado red. Neuspeed Cam, Chip, K&N, Turn 2 motor mounts, Techtonics exhaust, KW coil overs, Neuspeed F & R sways, all new rubber in the suspension & cv joints, Audi TT rear bushing. Falken AE 205/50 15 tires on TSW's, Neuspeed shift kit with M3 weight,  Momo Race wheel & knob, lots of restored/new parts mechanically.getting ready to put in a faux suede headliner... Hard to do? Bought in 2000 and it is just about where I want it to be now. Never selling it!

Nice sounding '90 mk2. I loved and miss my '90 GTI mk2 8v wolfsburg edition 5 spd. Even had the embroidered seats and immaculate interior but also the usual VW mysterious electrical probs. Hell of a car though. Tall Gear ratio in 5th gear 65mph ate tons of fuel revvin at like 3 or 4000 rpm.

it really depends on gears and the motor. with a wide ratio trans my 16v does 120 mph. I would imagine his motor probably puts out as much power as mine does due to modifications.
