I finally figured out how to make the audio sound decent! WOOT!

This is a song that I don't think gets the credit it deserves from the die-hards. It's a favorite among mediocre fans, but a lot of people hate it for that reason. I just think its a great song

nope, just standard. When Dave plays it, he plays in baritone tuning (which is basically what you call drop-b)

I think you could've done better with the added three notes on the verse, they sound a bit out of synch. But fuck it, I love you, Mike! Stalker-style, big kisses. You kick ass!

only thing i could recommend is be a bit more gritty. dave isn't so vanilla. you have a good voice, it is just odd hearing your sustain and purity on a dave song. have you tried any better than ezra? that would suit your voice well.

I forced myself to listen to this so my comment may bear some weight. I feel that this rendition is too pretty, like a lot of covers scattered around.

I think the chords and stuff seem right, though not deep enough, but from what I understand it's hard to play them if they're tuned how Dave Matthews does.

But the singing was too cute, too pretty. Your voice just doesn't suit the song. I'm not hating on your singing, it's just an inevitable thing. Your voice is too pretty for this song.
