This probably won't make sense, but even though I love George Crumb, this sounds more like "fish" than "Pisces" the way his Pastoral sounds more like "field" than "Taurus."

Count your beats from the begining :) Go slowly first. Every crotchet's worth four beats; count your rests as well :S
For the rest...shouldn't your teacher tell you this stuff? :P

Thanks for the constructive criticism! To answer your question, no I didn't read the score. Piano for Dummies helped me get through it.
Listen, all kidding aside--to really get to the heart of the problem, point out the measure(s) in the score, because it sounds like you're studying/playing it. It will help me, and anyone reading this.
