@onexrocks i agree with tstatech go crawl back under your rock. heat strips for AUX HEAT and AUX drain pan there for if primary backs up it not all over your drywall like i said go crawl back under your onexROCKs
That's why a 2.5 ton heat pump cost $10,000. to install and duct is 400.00 per run and return 1200.00 . Stop the no licence contractor and his helpers. By the way turn that music down on your clip
@onexrocks Drain lines clog, filters clog, fan motors fail, capacitors fail, all causing coil to freeze and overflow everything. Heat pumps need heat strips for extreme conditions and when the condensing unit goes into defrost. please tell me you dont install thats basic retard shit man
God awful video. I started typing right after I muted the TV music. But I suspect you're right about the install although I didn't watch. You put so much work into it you must be sincere, but I just hate TV.
why tell the owner all these things that should have been performed. I think he needs only one thing telling him what to do. Let a highly recomended contractor and inspect job and give advice on how to contact the state conditioned air licensing board. They'll take care of it.
Onexrocks- You need heat strips because the heating load is larger than the cooling load. It is also a good idea to have enough strip heat so that when this compressor goes bad in the middle of winter, your lazy but dosn't have to go out and change at 3 a.m. in -20 F' temps.
If the air handler leaks where do you think it is going to run out of? Could it be the corners? Maybe the corner that is over hanging the auxilary drain pan by 1/2"?
I hope you aren't working as a tech or an installer!
What a steaming turd of a video...!!

Had to stop watching when I saw Gibson. Nothing good can come from installing a Gibson under any circumstances. Ever.
